Well we know how I felt about Gears 1 so i have absolutely no expectations for GeoW 2. I probably won't invest in it. I'm really just getting tired of the shooter genre. For now I'll pretty much by the ones that really look like something fun or the one or 2 for online gaming.

I'm talking about in the future when this game comes out, no one will be playing Halo 3.  That's why that thought wasn't a separate sentence, but was separated by a comma.  It's in the same idea.  I think that everyone will be playing Gears 2 this fall, and no one will be playing Halo 3, that will be the reason I buy it. 

So, take the sarcasm out of your post, kthxby.

GOW2 is going to kick some major....The game looks awesome, and like hte first, the combat action looks to be hot hot hot. Sorry, but this game is a perfect example of why Xbox is the king of shooters, and other consoles owners can watch and weep.

FAIL.  Do you know on average 20,000 people still play Halo 2 on a daily basis.  Now try and take away from a regular 300,000 a day online base for H3.  No Gears of War can take away for the Halo online userbase.  Trust me Gears of War 2 will come around and take some gamers, but overall Halo 3 will still reign king.
