You aren't listening.  Instead of just parroting a figure from some news report someplace think for a minute.  If you spend 5 minutes adding some numbers together you'll see that this figure is obviously low.  Half the responses above mine have already said this but you don't seem to get it.

Start with the Nintendo Financials from March 31st and add the sell through from all the trackers and you'll get more than 26 million no matter who you choose.  It isn't just VGChartz that has these numbers.

Without knowing the actual date of what time period the statistics covers, it's simply impossible to use that as evidence for or against VGC statistics.
