NO I CAN actually understand some this FRench........NO,should have never taken french.

Nintando anounced today that over 26 million Wii have been sold worldwide since its launch in Dec 2006, against 20 million 360s by Microsoft and 14 million Ps3 by Sony."Wii rests head of the consoles, the dynamic is very strong thanks to...........of women, seniors and........................." Nintando  indicated that Wii's price of 249 euros will not change. Sony indicated 800,000 ps3 sold in France compared to 700,000 360s and 1,800,000 Wiis

this number is at least a month old. There is no way Nintendo would release a statement in the middle of June that was up to date. VGC has only a week delay. Nintendo has a minimum of a month. This number could be at the end of april shipped if it is legit.



End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

It does say over 26 million for the Wii and almost 20 million for 360, maybe they were just very loose with that.

Well the article states that nintendo themselves said TODAY that the wii has sold just above 26 million consoles world wide(shipped).

Thats all I get from that.
