Nintendo annonce aujourd'hui avoir écoulé plus de 26 millions de Wii dans le monde depuis son lancement en décembre 2006, contre près de 20 millions pour la Xbox 360 de Microsoft et 14 millions pour la PlayStation 3 de Sony Computer Entertainment. "La Wii reste en tête des consoles, la dynamique est toujours très forte grâce à l'afflux massif de femmes, de seniors, de clients différents de ce que l'industrie du jeu vidéo avait l'habitude de toucher", a déclaré Stephan Bole, PDG de Nintendo France, en marge du salon de l'Idef (Interactive and Digital Entertainment Festival) à Cannes. Nintendo a indiqué qu'il ne remanierait pas le prix de la Wii, toujours fixé à 249 euros. Sony Computer Entertainment indique de son coté avoir vendu 800.000 PlayStation 3 en France, contre 700.000 Xbox, et 1,8 million de Wii.

these could be from earlier months as far as we know, i don't see any official press release in english or japanese. I for one doubt this france source..

also, could you please come up with normal english sentences and not this gibberish? it feels like im talking to my 6 year old cousin or something.

I'm pretty sure those numbers are somewhat dated. Nintendo's financial statements claimed 24.5 million Wiis LTD as of March 31 this year. Do you think they only sold 1.5 million units over the course of April and May, plus a little June?

i'm not talking about that. I'm talking about the fact that companies never release sold to consumers reports. As famousringo says, this report is probably somehow outdated.
