Story mode? the hell............... I guess it would be cool if they jump between game franchises (i.e what they did in that trailer with killzone and what raving rabbids is doing with it's cameo's).

It's basically a platformer.  With a user friendly level editor.  Along with online capabilities (both for playing multiplayer and sharing levels).

I'm looking forward to this game.  Hopefully they include things like motors, springs, and other physics props.  I could definitely see myself playing around with those for a long time.

I have a feeling that the story mode could be something like in SSE for SSBB but with Sony franchises, that would be cool. Too bad you only get to dress like characters rather than playing with them. Considering the story didn't make sense, and this won't either.

Watch this, read this, and read this.

Also, look through some of the other videos on GameTrailers so you can see just how much crazy crap you can create in this game and how different the levels can be in terms of objectives and play style (you can make a level a race, a collectothon, require the user to defeat a boss, or just simply make the user figure out their way to the end, among other things). :D

I would but I'm more interested in remaking Contra (if there are projectiles) or TMNT....way too many people will be doing SMB and SMB3.

IMO this is the most innovative game announced so far this gen. I can't wait to see if it lives up to what it could be. I think it absolutly essential that Sony gets all of its franchises a level for this game. This would be an awsome are to makret new franchises and/or hype up games before release. I would love to see devs release a LBP level themed like their game just before release.

It will also be interesting to see if people can build some charicters that become popular enough to warrent a chat with devs about acciring rights to the franchise.

Well I don't see how some franchises would be feasible in LBP like GT and Motorstorm...but other than that I agree.
