Forums - Sales Discussion - Is the Wii Still a Virtual sellout in US?

I expect the Wii to continue selling out in my areas until July of next year.

In general it is still at pretty low supply on store shelves ... The combination of increased manufacturing and the seasonal decrease in demand means that it is showing up in store and online more often and is staying there for longer though.

I dont know. still to this day I havnt ever seen one on the shelves.

Thank god for my cousin who copped me one.

And in Poland they are not sold out:)

You might not find them in stores but there are about 3,500 on eBay rarely selling for much more than retail.  There are plenty on your local auction type sites (craiglist) as well going for just about retail as well.

Cheers

How do you answer that question seriously - nothing I say could give any real figure >.> They are making 2.3 now let's wait and see the monthly WW, if it's more than 1.8 then maybe it's still supply constrained.

I'm Unamerica and you can too.

Just checked ebay, prices for wii are about the same as prices for ps3. About $350-400 average.

When you see Wii's continuously available on Amazon, you will know supply has caught up with demand. I don't expect that to happen until after the holidays at least.
