you guys are getting on my nerves about this non-existing game. As of today none of you know anything about this, everything is pure speculation.
This discussion is getting so annoying, can we please wait until something is said about this game.

Considering that Disney will always go for money first, KH is more likely to land on the Wii, DS or even 360 rather than PS3. If Squeenix controlled the KH franchise, it would most certainly stay in Sony consoles - but it doesn't.

Disney can push the Blu-Ray just fine with movies only, and leave its options open with the game franchises.

You could have made that arguement for PS2 no?

The ps2 targeted everyone in the same way the wii does, but the wii does it at a larger scale. The ps2 was a very casual system. I would say it is the third most casual console of all time, after the wii and ds that is.

Well that doesn't guratee good sales.For example look at the tales games, Symphonia sold better on the gamecube than any other tales game on the ps2 even though the ps2 was the console leader.

I'd have to say that Wii has a much more family friendly image then PS2 ever did and yet KH was PS2 exclusive. I don't think you realize how much these companies wuv each other.

I also agree to a certain extend but there will always be people that want it on a different console.

To be fair, if user base was the only consideration, the Wiii would be getting a hell of a lot of extra third party support

Oh i was just pointing out the idocy of that.  It's like claiming God of War 3 will come out for 360 because Sony computers use Windows and Sony wants to keep Windows on it's labtops.

Install base 3 times bigger in Japan and still MGS4 will become biggest 3rd party title in just 2 weeks. Wii will never enjoy huge 3rd party support like PS2 did even with way better sales.


Because there are many 3rd party games on the Wii of high quality, Marketing budget, bundles etc like MGS4 eh? Right...

 

 

And the reason is you need to sell 1 million or more on these kind of games to break even. Now tell me how many 3rd party Wii games sold more then 1 million? Why still there is not even one big jrpg anounced for Wii?

I know it doesn't it;s only one factor that contributes to good sales, and I explained more in other posts. The ps2 tales games had alot more competition than ToS and were overshadowed. That is why they sold worse than ToS, because ToS didn't have too much competition.

@Leetgeek That is true, but that didn't mean the ps2 didn't have any. It had a significant amount of family appeal.
