Simple math really. Disney supported Sony during the bluray HDDVD war. They're interested in selling  their movies on bluray ($$$$$). For this reason they have a vested interest in increasing blurays install base.

They only own 30% of the IP.

Even if they did have the ability to block a major movie company it would be incredibly stupid to do so.  They'd be sacrficing their entire format and their credibility for one game.

Not again... KH 3 has not even been announced, nor will it be until TGS so you can speculate nearer then when it is relevent

I'm with Munkeh on this one. Arguing this for the hundredth time isn't going to get us anywhere.

And more importantly Disney will want KH3 to sell decent numbers all over the world.

Yes. Why must people keep making Kingdom Hearts 3 threads. There are too many of them. No information hinting at this game's existence has been leaked, the portable games haven't even been released yet.

This thread is just going to turn into a pointless argument about people wanting KH3 on their favourite console because they say so.

And it will sell more on the console that has both  a large japanese userbase, and a large western userbase. Which one is that? Hint: Look on the home page of this site.

So Disney (who supports the Wii) will suggest that the strongest game IP associated with them will not be released on the most popular console (which happens to be the most popular console among families) in order to release it on the least popular platform which is primarily popular with the teenage/young adult male population?

Disney supported Blu-Ray because they like new movie formats because it enables them to resell every movie they have ever made and make massive ammounts of money; of all movie studios in the world they're (probably) the most focused on maximizing their profits from the re-release of movies. This had absolutely nothing to do with Sony, and (being that Blu-Ray has 'won') they have no reason to add additional support for Blu-Ray anymore.
