Doesnt it make sense to make sure you can release the MAIN game before a spin-off?

The flip side of that is that VS. will take much longer to be released after 13. Also if that team will work on KH3 too then that will take longer as well to make.

 

I don;t care about KH as a franchise as I have never played the games.....Versus XIII never intrigued me as the actual FF13 is really where its at....people who ignore that are in denial.

Spin-Off & main game have huge differences in quality...

They have invested millions on game engine and the same team is making FFv13 so KH3 will come to PS3. That doesn't mean it will be exclusive but you never know.

Well they will put the game where it sells and hard core RPG will hardly sell on Wii. And install base doesn't matter becasue MGS4 just proved this. I don't think S-E invested millions on the engine to release just two games on it.

I wouldn't be surprised if KH3 would wind up at first on the 360, just like with SOIV

To people who find it strange that FFXIII releases first... of course it will! FFXIII is "THE" game for most RPG fans with a PS3. Its kind of for me as well,... although I was more looking forward to a SOIV on the PS3 *sob*. Anywho, once FFXIII has sold a lot of copies its nothing but wise then to release the VS game "afterwards" as the FFXIII owners will most likely buy the spin off game as well. IMO its more of a marketing strategy.

FF13 is THE Home Console RPG game this generation WW for maximum amount of people...no matter what people think aboout the franchise....thats a fact.

I really doubt KH will go to 360....as its big in Japan.

Bad news for ffvs13 but good for ff13 that they are helping finish it hopefully it releases by end of 2008.

I don't give a fuck how they sell or when KH is released at this point. Just fucking give us FFXIII and I for one will shut up for at least a year.

FFvXIII is not the spin off, its completly diffrent game then FF13 and will be way bigger then KH3.

No matter how you spin it: it's a spin off. Simple. I'm not saying it's a bad game or anything, but it is a spin-off. FF13 is the main game. And I don't think it will be bigger than KH, whatever platform that's on.

@shan: Perhaps you missed the news, but SE's Crystal Tools engine runs on Wii.

I´ll just wait once FFVSXIII and FFXIII are done and buy a special edition that will contain both games, lol.

KH fits the Wii, having cartoony visuals and not heavily relying on graphics.

Well it runs on Wii also thats why i said it may not be the exclusive and after poor sales of hard core games on Wii, Disney and SE may not even bother to release on it.
