The Matrix 2 and 3 didn't have philosophical depth. They pulled that franchise into the depth.

MGS has a good excuse for having a lot of cutscenes IMO. I don't like that people think cutscenes are bad. It would be really hard to tell MGS4's story without cutscenes. Bioshock didn't need them because the story was written to be immersive and thought-provoking.

Have you played MGS4 yet Faxanadu? I was worried that there wouldnt be alot of gameplay (like MGS2) but there is a ton. Along with alot of cutscenes. Im on my second time through and skipping all the cutscenes, and im enjoying all the gameplay. You should check it out!

Definitely more than 6 hours of gameplay, whoever said that was apparently going for time, as 5 hours is a requirement for one of the hardest achievements the game rewards.
I took close to 20 hours total, so 8-ish hours of cutscenes would put me around 10-11 hours of gameplay, and I definitely wasn't taking my time.

On topic, that's quite the amusing glitch, given the audience.
