Dont get metal gear ACID its not that good..

Also you can head over the GT and save some time, watching the retrospectives can help you with the storyline.

LOL...aiight...I won't...but I am a Metal Gear fan...so I would like to add them to my collection.

who knows, but I know I'm about to play MGS2 then MGS3 and then MGS: Portable Ops and then I will play MGS4.

I remember Metal Gear Solid 1, it was only a couple of weeks ago when I first beat, haven't beat MGS2 yet.

Part one is still the best in my mind...

they are actually very similar gampelay wise.
MGS2 was part 1 redone with better graphics and new lead character
MGS3 was similar gamplay but new elements such as healing
MGS4 seems to be graphics again, same gamplay stuff as seen is 2 and 3

Story is different ofcourse and amazing for all.

So MGS2 was Metal Gear Solid 1 but redone on the PS2?!?!

For real so do I have to play that game to understand the story?

Not quite...but kinda.

Not to ruin MGS2 for you but 1/4 in to the game, the game does a complete 180... After that happens, the missions, fights and scenarios mimmic part one very closely... :)

Well...cool, I guess?

I will play it anyway to try it out again. The first time I didn't pay attention to the story but I want to play through it again to get a better understanding of it.

Yeah Metal Gear Solid was one of the best games back then.. wait still is.. If you have the chance get the Twin Snakes for the GameCube.. It's a remake of the Ps1 version.. but waaaay better cinematics..
