I believe that, given their contributions to the gaming enviroment over their two decades of console making, and the continued innovations that they continue to make in the arcade and software market that SEGA deserves a forum to call its own.

was going to post the same thing but as a joke, all you can talk about now is what SEGA isn´t doing, if SEGA gets a forum you´ll need an Atari forum or a Capcom forum.....

It would be nice but then again soemone would say...well Ubisoft has made contributions, and Square etc etc, I think they want to keep it for the consoles

I always loved Sega but I hated them when they abandoned Dreamcast and even published games for Playstation instead of DC. They are a great gamehouse but awfully terrible businessmen!

They made plenty of consoles. Granted, none are new, but I think that there are enough SEGA fans out there to make the forum lively enough. DC software still sells. According to this very site, DC sold more software this year than GCN in Japan. Not much, but its something. Furthermore, none of the companies you listed above (save Atari) have ever made a console and not even Atari dabbles in the arcades anymore. If you're only interested in current consoles, why have discussions about Xbox or GCN here? They're both just as dead as DC.

Well we don't have forums devoted to GC or Xbox if that's what you mean. It's always fine to start a topic or two about Xbox, GC, DC, whatever...there's not enough to justify separate forums for dead consoles though.

It is sad that GC games aren't selling anymore though...I plan on catching up on GC games that I missed out on with my Wii.

What about a frindge party forum, to encompass frindge systems and companies like Gizmondo, GPX, Virtua Scan, iRiver, Zodiac, etc, EVO, Phantom, etc.

What of a PC gaming forum too? Even though not relevant to the content of this site it would make for suitable supplemental discussion and I'm sure there are plenty of PC gamers here who would like a place to chat it up.
