Exactly I know its not a failure in that region, but in America and Japan. It certainly is not meeting to the demands that every gamer that want one can't get it.

I bolded that part because your certainly right, many things can change seeing how FFXIII can be a timed exclusive...you never know...and Star Ocean might not be a franchise that is compared to Final Fantasy, but its the principal that Microsoft and Square Enix are working close and getting a better relationship.

1) how many 50GB taking PS3 games were ported to x360? 0.
2) how many PS3 games at all were ported to x360? 0.

+ on last closed show, where was FFXIII, it was not just "For Playstation 3". It was "For Playstation 3 ONLY".

LAST FACT. How many x360 has 3rd party exclusive jrpg after 2,5 years released? Answer is 0. ONLY jrpg published by M$ stay exclusive.

Where are the JRPG's for the PS3?

I don't want future releases (FFXIII or White Knight Story)...I want titles that are released now that are JRPG's..

Why don't you want FFXIII and WKC? WKC is being made by Level 5 if you didn't already know.

Also, you make it seem like that title "For Playstation 3 ONLY" is effective and will stay like that.

Raichu your missing my question I was trying to ask Crazzyman, since the Xbox 360 has more JRPG's out then the PS3.

"Give me a list of JRPG's that are already out on the PS3?"

Which JRPG games stayed exclusive on x360 after 2,5 years? ONLY published by M$.

Star Ocean 4 is published by SQUARE.

@ecurbj, play on DS or PSP for NOW, both systems will satisfy your JRPG needs, till PS3 jrpgs will come.

On x360 all jrpg are below 80%, so unless you are starving, and can`t wait for GOOD jrpg, you can play AVERAGE ones.

2009.04.30 - PS3 will OUTSELL x360 atleast by the middle of 2010. Japan+Europe > NA.


Gran Turismo 3 - 1,06 mln. in 3 weeks with around 4 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Gran Turismo 4 - 1,16 mln. with 18 mln. PS2 on the launch.

Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X-2 - 2.4 mln. with 12 mln. PS2 on the launch.

 

1.8 mln. PS3 today(2008.01.17) in Japan. Now(2009.04.30) 3.16 mln. PS3 were sold in Japan.
PS3 will reach 4 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 25k.

PS3 may reach 5 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 50k.
PS2 2001 vs PS3 2008 sales numbers =) + New games released in Japan by 2009 that passed 100k so far

As much as you guys want to compare sales of FF and SO, the fact of the matter is that alot of JRPG gamers who own a PS3 now are basically pissed off.

One sells 5m, one sells 1m, who f cares if you are seeing your fellow PS3 owners showing their honest feelings right here on VGChartz about the lack of JRPGs.

Frankly (and I know this will grate you) I cant even imagine life without my 360 as I have a JRPG pang once every 3 months at least.

I agree. Now is not the time to damage control, PS3 owners. Now is the time to complain and sign the petition.

 

@Crazzy!

Eternal Sonata is an American exclusive, and Lost Odyssey/Blue Dragon as both exclusive now.

 

The PS3 doesn't have any JRPGs to stay exclusive.

 

Complain, don't damage control.
