Hmmm, probably the price and I'm not horribly crazy about the games coming out/came out^^; Some look good and all, but not enough I don't think. I'm also not crazy about graphics or anything easier^^; I'm impressed easily ; ; Eh, mostly price though it seems. ^^;

The games that I want to play on it aren't released...or even announced.

I will buy a ps3 for a new Ico or Shadow of Colossus....or Jak 4...whichever comes first.

So basically...all ps3 games right now = meh.

I want one for the gaming experience and couldn´t care less about the rest so the price at the moment is to high for a console that I am only going to use for gaming.

Price. I am better off buying a Sega Saturn, I can get lots of great games (relatively) cheaply. Also, I expect PS3 price to come down later, so its easy to wait.

Personally I just don't have the money for it. I got married about a year and a half ago so i had wedding charges, honeymoon etc. Now, I have tons of bills, my wife wants to go on vacation and I don't believe in spending more money than I currently have + a safe amount in saving in case of emergencies. If I had more income (not easy since I am finishing grad school before I get a real job) I would buy one. Also, I don't have a HDTV so the blue ray does not help and many of the games on it atm are not ones I HAVE to have. Thus, its not in my budget atm and I am not going to try and stretch it a bit (as I would if there were lots of JRPGS or FFXIII was coming out very soon)

 

I did buy the wii close to launch cause I was not married yet and I felt the motion controller was something I had to try out. Also, many of the games for it are must haves for me (MK, smash, mario galaxy, zelda). Plus, I really wanted to play some GC games and I never bought a GC.
