Forums - Sony Discussion - Everytime Sony announces a first party game, it's always Questioned.

Newsflash:

It doesn't matter what you're doing, somebody on the internet will question it. The higher profile it is, the more people will question it.

Grow a thicker skin.

"The worst part about these reviews is they are [subjective]--and their scores often depend on how drunk you got the media at a Street Fighter event."  — Mona Hamilton, Capcom Senior VP of Marketing

MGS is not a third person shooter, is not even a shooter, you even understand the MGS game mechanics? It's the best stealth game, THE steath game.
RPG: Final Fantasy, I agree is hands down the best.
Fighting: Tekken (Street fighter is the most selling fighting game ever, Brawl is today the most popular fighting game by faaaaaaaaaaar (so far), Tekken is not even close to be as big as the others two)
Third Person Aventure: Uncharted ( Do you even know zelda? pick any one )
FPS: Resistance (make me laugh)

The fanboys are so fun.

you are wrong about tekken dont be confuse tekken is not  for everyone if for a selected audience, not everyone has the gift to play it. you are right about final fantasy and metal gear,i dont care about the other two

... Of course people put into question whether a game will be good or bad before it's actually released. I'm more worried when someone decides the game is awesome before even playing it.

Yes i understand MGS, i owned all three playstation versions. I spent more time shooting than hiding, so i class it as a third person shooter.

So because Brawl sells more its better? Are you a sheep?

Of course i know zelda. I owned ocarina of time. I would class zelda more of an RPG than anything else.

Why does this make you laugh? What other exclusive FPS series can you think of? All 3 halo games are the same (ive played them all) so....what...?

Did u come here just to troll?

Could you please tell me why in hell would you class Zelda more of an RPG?

Because IGN said so.

"US, November 25, 1998 - The new benchmark for interactive entertainment has arrived. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, the fifth official installment in Nintendo's popular action-RPG series is finally here, and like its NES predecessor in 1987 it is a game so enjoyable, it has the power to pull videogame players into its imaginative worlds -- and refuse to let go for days. Call us crazy, but when the final version of Zelda 64 arrived in the IGN64 offices, we stopped working, locked ourselves into a room with a big-screen TV and a surround system and played 17 hours straight."

I said this in another Post if its not Wii Good News your gonna get trolled and bashed all around the internet no one can take good news for another system these days.

Incert Witty Comment on how i'm a fanboy of all systems including PC here.

@OP
Hmm... A lot of the titles you mentioned were mediocre, by todays standards. Not bad in any way (except lair), that's not what I mean, just not really that much above the rest. Is it not ok to question them then? And even more to the point, why is it bad to question games? It's not bashing when you are not sure whether or not something is going to hold up to the standard set by others.

I don't know about you, but when I'm gaming and am interrupted by an installation process and then a really long cutscene, it makes me throw away the controller in disgust and never pick up the game again.

Also, I have heard nothing but good about Little Big Planet. From the first video it has been looking like an amazing game. The only critisism I can think of for it is that it isn't released yet.

The reviews I have read about Haze gave it subpar scores, and given it the outlook of a great game in previews. Maybe we've been reading different magazines/articles.

I am sorry if you feel that Sony games are being treated unfairly, but it's not something I can do anything about or even agree with you on.
