Whether americans want to believe it or not, Microsoft did this to boast Japan's 360's image, it wasn't for the U.S. If they thought Microsoft was doing this for them, they're crazy. Why else announce this IN JAPAN? But also, whether we want to believe it or not, It's image is also tarnished because of its american roots. buying the 360 helps america's economy, buying a PS3 helps Japans. you get the idea.

But personally, i think this announcement PISSED OFF Japanese Gamers because they're probably waiting for a Bigger PS3 JRPG Library before purchasing it, especially from S-E. But this annoucement that S-E sold out to Microsoft and has made exclusive or timed-exclusive JRPG's for 360 while still shunning what the Japanese want, it's probably pissing them off hard-core lol. I mean you've already tried big named JRPGs for 360 in Japan, it failed. Why not give PS3 to show it can sell them 2-3x more?? But no, these announcements keep pouring in to save the 360 in Japan and i think the japanese public are saying "WTF???. We don't want your stupid console, why do you keep torturing us???" lol. If it's going 360 exclusive and not multi-plat, you know they're gonna be pissed and end up boycotting their games until they realize it. 

If Microsoft's goal is to keep doing this until they finally give in, the XBOX 720 will already be out and they'll still ignore it

I think Japanese gamers are too busy playing their vast library of RPGs on handhelds to notice.

I dont understand what S-E is actually going to get out of this. Sure Microsoft will pay them loads of money, but they lose fanbase in both Europe and Japan for this. They tried this method before and its already been proven hopeless. If people aren't buying the PS3 in Japan they arent going to buy a 360, lol.

But hell, Square-Enix wants to ruin all their IP's to please Microsoft then let them do it. 360 owners in NA arent going to buy that shit, so they just blew one of their biggest IP's for a little cash. All they have left now is Final Fantasy, unless they start dropping a lot more new IPs. I would atleast think they would release this game on the Wii if not the PS3.

Just like with the Final Fantasy movie, SE is determined to destroy their company. Im pretty sure Sony isnt going to bail them out this time though

Only infuriate PS3 fanboys...Gamers go where the games are. If the PS3,X360, or Wii have he games, then thats where they go. The infuriation is only by those that wished their system of choice had the games they wanted.

It infuriates every Japanese gamer. They don't want anything to do with Microsoft since they have nothing to look forward to except GOW2. Plus, this ain't gonna help the 360 in Japan also since the TLR is also on PS3, they could wait for that version.
