Well, in Europe PS3 launched in march so it's pretty fresh still. But if the games and PSN content don't start showing, sales in Europe will probably slow down like in Jap and US too.

 But not to worry, it's summer here now, a hot 29C, no time to sit inside and play. Get outside and enjoy the summer, autumn will bere here soon enough ;)

i dont think it's so much that people want to step on what PS3 does, it's more because Blue3 had claimed that VGcharts is incorrect and had to be adjusted based on what an unconfirmed Sony insider claimed.  so people are just arguing that VGcharts are good enough since both are guesstimates.  if you adjust it now, and it confirmed later being lower, then VGcharts will have to adjust down again.  and all this adjustments are not the standard method ioi uses to estimate the VGcharts numbers and therefore may cause more confusion later.  It's better to keep his current method since they are close enough to represent the sales of the consoles.

@Bordello, considering the PS3 in Japan has been released since November 2006 and in Europe only since March, 4 months later, I don't think Sony has much to complain about the European market ;) Europe has a few solid games. It will be ridiculous that only a MGS, DMC or FF can boost up the sales of the PS3. Europe has Virtua Tennis 3, Resistance, Virtua Fighter 5, Oblivion (port though but who cares so has the WII) for example, not really bad titles. Though like with the PS2 at first, the games are mostly based on a certain group of mainstream gamers.

You do realize that the difference between 950k and 1M is only 5% right? And that that's well within standards for sales figures?

My girlfriend is currently addicted to Super Ruba Dub and Ape Escape 2 (bought the game for my PS3, as I never owned a PS2). She likes Motorstorm and Jak3 (PS2) a lot as well. I am going to buy Singstar and Rachtet and Clank, Little Big Planet for the PS3 when they are out later this year. They are the type of games we both enjoy.

Resistance Fall of Man, God of War (PS2) and Oblivion are played by myself exclusively when she falls asleep at an early hour compared to myself. I guess the same will be the case for Lair, Warhawk and Killzone. Heavenly Sword and Uncharted I am not yet so sure about if they will appeal to her or not.

I disagree that more people are eager to put down the PS3 than either of the other two consoles.  It may look that way since there is a higher proportion of nintendo fans, however it isn't the PS3 that gets people annoyed.  I myself have nothing at all against the PS3.  I do not want one, but neither do I care if others do.  However, my goal is to promote the truth, as best we can, and Blue has a bad habit of distorting it.  In fact, he annoys a lot of people, which is why he gets very intense responses at times.
