And when Beyond Good & Evil 2 was announced for PS360 it looked too real and the Nintendo fanboys pointed out that it would fit better on the Wii with the more cartoony graphics from the original.

Independent of the platform, BG&E would be better with the graphics near the original.

"Personally, I think that we're heading to a time in the market which is very similar to the SNES vs. Genesis battle ..."

I LOVED those days, HappySqurriel...it was my favorite gen ever.

"Now, the popularity of the Wii and HD consoles will have a decent coverage of all genres"

A very good scenario as far as I´m concerned...no system will be irrelevant this generation.

All those knocking the Wii's third party support forget the key fact that discards and destroys any argument they care to muster: Fatal Frame IV = automatic win.

So here's a list of the third party stuff on the way for the Wii that we know of so far. I have probably missed a few games:

Tales of Symphonia 2
deBlob (Jet Set Radio with a blob basically. Will be an oustanding game)
Tenchu 4
Fatal Frame IV
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles 2
The Conduit
MadWorld
Sonic Unleashed
Deadly Creatures
Fragile
Dokapon Kingdom
Rune Factory Frontier
Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon
Monster Hunter 3
Elebits 2
Monkey King 2 (2D arcade shooter, exclusive)
Shiren the Wanderer 3
Spyborgs
Castlevania (latest rumblings pretty much confirm it)
Brothers in Arms
Sky Crawlers
Prince of Persia Wii
Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party 2
Drawn to Life
Ghostbusters
Monster Lab (screens are surprisingly impressive)
Mushroom Men
Sadness
One Piece: Unlimited Cruise 1 and 2
Raving Rabbids TV Party
Red Steel 2
Samba de Amigo
Rock Band
Sam and Max
SimCity Creator
Skate It
Soul Eater: Monotone Princess
Spore
Sword of Legendia
Star Wars: The Clone Wars
Rygar

The list is improving all the time imo. Lots of different stuff.

no one would like it if Nintendo released a Mario for the 360 thar looked like this:

more realistic graphics are not always a good thing!

 As "horrable" as your spelling?

So will Prince of Persia for the Wii be anything like the bastardization of Rival Swords it got?

Pity Ninja Bread Men already came out or you could have added it to the list too.

You're being pretty biased if you don't think there's a fair few decent titles on that list.

I think the word you're looking for is "Jaded" not "biased"

But yes, I am being overly harsh, I should learn how to be optimistic again...

Filtered for quality, unannounced games, vaporware, and correctness. (Drawn to Life is a DS game by the way, and your list lacks Oboro Muramasa, Bomberman, and Guitar Hero 4.)

Still hugely impressive even then, though. Especially considering none of these are Nintendo games.

Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles fan for life. <3
