A statement from the Corporation read as follows: "It has been agreed that production of both Eight Days and The Getaway will cease immediately due to the redistribution of resources and budget. 

It clearly states ceased.. which means stopped.. so they r stopping it currently and they may restart these games later on... 

I think that is a very good move on Sony part.. they need to get the games out of the door as soon possible instead of just claiming that they have these many games in development... people don;t care abt that... So instead of having small but many many teams they need to have larger and fewer teams to complete the game and start on next one...

Its already been stated that Sony was or is outsourcing developers from SCEE to Guirella games.So this just means;Killzone 2 FTW!!

Last year the consoles were losing exclusives to each other, this year the trend seems to be losing them either to the rubbish bin or to next year

I care as much about those games getting cancelled, as I do, that monkey that fell in the amazon river yesterday (I'm sure one did), that got devoured by a crocodile.
