Yeah, sure. Just like x360 games - Trusty bell, ace combat 6, Kane & Lynch and etc. Both systems have great games. My point was is that the 360 is no chump in terms of alternate content for games. Good Games - YES. But AAA titles only few: Mass effect, Halo3, Lost oddysey and maybe PGR4.

Over 5 mln. fans of MGS, over 7 mln. fans of FF, over 8 mln. fans of GT and etc. And declining. Each game you've stated has decreased in popularity over the PS2s lifetime. Whats preventing them from continuing their diminishing returns? New PS3 capabilities new LEVEL of grapchis. New Amazing Visuals.

Depend on many factors. Time will show. Very correct. Time will show, but for now, the PS3 is losing to the 360 around 30k a week worldwide. It hasn't gotten any better since the PS3 launched in europe. It`s not big deal. And you know, after 1,5 year x360 should be selling like wii, but it deosn`t. Why?

Probably. Well GT5 prologue may help too. As Tekken 6. Im sure both will, but both are mid-late 2008 games. By then the 360's lead could very well be much higher. Both games for the end of 2007 end mostlikely.

Just like ps2, first year 10 mln. second and third 20 mln. each. Okay. First year for PS3, 5m units. Second year, 10m. Thats still only 15m and the 360 will be at 15m by at latest, late 2007. Why 5 and now 8-10?

Priceut may help, some people just wait to buy ps3 for 499$. I agree, but is Sony going to drop the price soon enough? If during november-december, it will be enough.

Novemeber-Decemebr x360 in usa made 2 mln. Just thnx to gears. PS3 will have much more AAA titles by this autumn. Now add Japan and Europe. Like I said, the X360 didn't sell the units due to Gears. GRAW sold 1/2 the units of GOW (a big deal of units, fyi, which is around the same of the units that Lair, Drakes, ect, should do) and really didn't move a great deal of systems. GRAW wasn`t killer`ap, and geow was.

x360 is now doing 2 times better in japan, then in 2006. =)) People complain about price and no games. Whats is x360 excuses for low sales? No sustained J-games vs. PS3 and Wii. It also has to get out of the mire that was the xbox bomb. I mean low sales worldide, not only in japan. ~200k for a nextgen console on 2nd year it is a failure.

Each AAA game will make a 600$ console worth it`s money. FACT. ...Like the AAA Neo Geo games sold tons of systems, right? There wasn`t a FAN BASE for neo geo.

Those games are just averages, except maybe DR. Madden - amercian game, so all who wanted to buy x360 for that game and other american games, already had bought x360. And you make the assumption that magically every person that wants Lair, Uncharted, et all, doesn't own a PS3. Because, people wait for a priceut. 

600$ system in first 6 month worldwide is dooing same as 400$ system, don`t you see that? Don't you see that unit sales are the same compared to a system the PS2 beat 6:1 last generation? Yeah, and now i wonder how M$ will sell another 18 mln. x360 this year, while ps3 need to sell only 8-10 mln. by tje end of this year.

Price+no games. Just like ps2 didn`t have much games. The PS2 had great games to start with, and always had them + a great price. You have to have both to sell, the PS3 has neither, and looks to only have 1/2 of the puzzle later this year. GTA3, DMC, FFX, GT3, MGS2 - those AAA titles came only on 2nd year. And only, after these games, sales rised to 20 mln. from 10 mln. in a year.

People are different, some people will pay 660$ to play just one game. Do you know how much MGS or FF or GT fans for sure won`t buy ps3 for they favourite games? And you assume that 100% of the people that buy these games aren't PS3 owners already? Even if those 3 games magically move 5,000,000 hardware units, thats still less than the lead the 360 has. Do i need to repeat, that there are over 5 mln. fans of MGS, over 7 mln. fans of FF, over 8 mln. fans of GT and etc. 3 Mln. doesn`t == 5-7-8 Mln., do you understand that? =)

It`s only 6 month passed. If after 18 month ps3 will be selling like x360 today, then ps3 is doomed, till then, it`s more then successful system for 600$ and not much games. And in 12 months, the X360 will be selling like the Wii - your point? It already must, or it will be a failure. If M$ don`t make 25-28 mln. by the march 31 2008 then they doomed.

Every single FF and MGS fan that I know, is either getting a Wii or a 360 right now. Hell, one of them has played every single FF since 7, but he isn´t buying a ps3 till it hits $300 or less. Seriously, only the extremely hardcore fans will buy a ps3 just for those games. And I´m pretty sure they don´t even hit the million. I consider myself a extremely hardcore Banjo Kazooie fan, but I wouldn´t buy a 360 just for it. Luckily, there are at least 3 more games that I´m eager to get for it when I buy it.

But, well you know, that those MGS/FF/GT fans also may want not only 1 game, but like Uncharted or HS or Lair. Just like you BK + 3 games. PS3 is going to have a lot of amazing games, so don`t worry. :)

I may be misinterpreting you because of your horrible grammar(which I'm assuming you deliberately do to go with your name and give the impression of being "crazzy") but I'll respond anyway.  It is true that there is a difference between the types of games people buy on Sony consoles versus Microsoft consoles.  The 360s big games are mostly by American companies whereas the PS3's big games are mostly by Japanese ones.  That is slowly changing, however.  As you can see, there are quite a few Japanese RPGs planned for the 360 and other major Japanese companies are offering more support.  In short, there is less of a difference between the 360 and PS3 than there was between the Xbox and PS2.  While the difference may not be enough to have any effect on Japanese gamers(who want nothing to do with American games for the most part), it will have an effect on the American and European gamers, which is where most of the money is.  Your average casual gamer who makes up the biggest portion of the game-buying population is not going to be able to tell the difference in the types of games on the PS3 and the 360.  They will, however, see a system with as many or more good games that costs $200 less. And don't bring in the PS3 price drop, the 360 can drop it's price as well and still be $200 cheaper.  It costs $800 to make a PS3, and it costs $400 to make a 360.  Microsoft has the upper hand in the price game.  I'm not even mentioning the Wii which is taking the rest of the market that the 360 didn't take from Sony.  Only hardcore Sony loyalists are going to want to pay $200 more for a system that is doing horribly in sales(even the casual gamers know that Sony is getting its ass handed to it in the console wars).  While there may be enough left over from the massive PS2 audience to sell some systems, it won't be enough for them to beat the 360 and the Wii.

just don't listen to crazyman he's all but ignored on N4G because he thinks every PS3 game is going to sell millions.

NEWS FLASH- HS, Lair, Rachet, uncharted none of them are going to sell over a million, and just because you consider them AAA titles doesn't mean other do.

Halo 3- you've got nothing to counter it with
Mass Effect- Show a game the PS3 has with this kind of quality
Too Human- HS maybe, but HS has no 4 player online co-op
Lost Od- Its made by the maker of FF and the game looks like a CGI i'll take it and i bet it will sell really well.

I could go on for the entire list, and guess what we could also say everyone who wants FFXIII and MGS4 have a PS3 MGS4 only sold 3 million so it sounds right.

ALSO LA NOIRE is xbox 360 and Forza sold 150 k in one week, thx moron

North America - I think the gap is only going to increase this year especially since the PS3 really doesn't have an exclusive that is a guaranteed multi-million seller like Halo 3 or Super Mario Galaxy.  I even think long term doesn't look good for the PS3 either because every month it does poorly is another month in which third parties starting new games will not make them PS3 exclusive unless offered a payout by Sony.  So the list of third part PS3 exclusives might almost dry up in the next 1-3 years.

Europe - Who could have predicted that the 360 would be outselling the PS3 there?  If current trends continue it'll be bad for the PS3 and put it into the same position it's in in North America.

Japan - The only real chance the PS3 has in the next few month to even attempt to close the gap WW on the 360.  Unfortunately if current trends continue it might not be enough to even keep the gap from widening greatly.

So my prediction on when it will catch up Worldwide?  At least 2 years depending on how Japan sales go.  If sales don't pick up *a lot* in Japan then it will never surpass the 360 Worldwide.
