As I respond to all of these threads about opinion poll numbers,"Who cares?" That said, SMG is the better game in my opinion. I think that it may be the best Mario game ever. I know some people will not like that comment but it's my opinion.

Peace was restored, now only if we can find a way to get RE4 back in the top 10, and stop GTA from taking 2 spots.

GTAIV don't deserve to fall behind SMG, in my opinion is definitely a better game...

 GTA IV on the PS3 definitely deserves to be in front of both SMG and OoT.

Yes. It has more glitches than both of them put together times 3.

The thing about one game taking two spots had irked me for some time and I'm still on the fence by that. I mean on one hand we have one game (You could also look at the orange box, RE4, Assassins creed etc) but different magazines give different numbers. Websites mainly will lump scores in together but PS magazine for instance will not rate the Xbox version of GTA4. Thus different numbers ensue.

Granted, we shouldn't mind if the difference is only a few tenth of a percent but if I may take the example of the orange box - The lag in the PS3 version of TF2 lowered the game significantly on this platform - how should we compare this to the "better" versions of the X360 and PC?

Come on, seriously.... why do you people put so much stock in the aggregate scores of these games.

Truly legendary games don't need XX.X rating to prove their greatness. If you need to use rankings as a metric for "+awesome", you are fail.

I've only breifly played SMG and I have to admit, it was very fun; didn't want to quit by my wife dragged me away. GTAIV was a very thrilling experiance when it comes to seeing the amount of detail put in the city or the kickass physics engine they created. But like it has been said over and over there really isn't anything new or revolutionary(I don't think this is the only thing that merits a perfect score, though I don't consider GTAIV a perfect). SMG had nothing new but it was fun right off the bat which is kind of rare for the genre it is part of. Either way with all the angst from internet folk about GTA IV's score this was bound to happen.

OoT is arguably one of the greatest games of all time. GTA4 is glitch ridden and is basically GTA3 with knobs on
