How come you guys are giving the games such low scores? I mean, I'm not just talking about average games neither. Great games are only getting scores like Super Mario World. What gives? Honestly, I don't understand whats up with all these low scores. People should have to write a review for their vote to count.

I think the reviews/walkthroughs/faqs is something that will grow with future releases but people aren't usually going to go back and fill in all the information for old games. Walkthrough/faqs especially are rather niche and it might be more beneficial to go contact other faq writers via gamefaq's etc. and get permission to host their faq's here instead.

What do we do if we want to add a game to the database that isn't currently there?

Just finished adding the rest of the 360 boxarts. Tomorrow's agenda - PS3.

Killzone 2 and most of the games from the Niintendo, Sony, and Microsoft conferences are missing as well as PSN and Live Arcade games. Any chance you guys could try to get things up.

Probably someone asked that before, but I'm too tired to read through this whole thread, so I ask again:


If I find out that a game has two entries in the database because its japanese and its american names are not the same, is there a possibility for me as a user to unite them into one profile?

For example, I've seen that Baten Kaitos 2 and Baten Kaitos Origins are two different games in the database altough they are the same game. I tried to solve the problem by adding "Baten Kaitos 2" in the section japanese name to Baten Kaitos Origins' profile, but that didn't help.

Why does everyone rates the games so low ..... It seenms that people are just giving 1s to games that are being made from their least favorite designer. (ex. MS fanboy gives 1s to PS3 and Wii)

Hello..one question...why the global sales for some games are not appearing , as in the past?I was trying to see the global sales for Resident Evil 4 (wii edition) and in the page for the game, there weren;t the sales, as in the past...
I also checked it with other wii games and the same was happening, but eg for the Pokemon D/P the sales were there...

So I was adding the release dates for Super Mario Bros., and ran into a bit of a problem when the drop down box for years under Japan only goes back to 86, and the game was released in 85. So yeah, just pointing that out.
