They could be lying, look at Capcom, "dont worry this will be an exclusive title to the gamecube...NOT!

Anything is possible, Nintendo use to have FF on the nes.

if FF has to go multi-platform then it better use the PS3 right and not be brought down by the 360. that is the only thing that will piss me off.

I also wouldn't be surprised to see Dead Rising coming to the PS3 either. LOL

Can't say I'm surprised, just cause the 360 won't sell any in Japan. They may get a port down the road but it's not being built for the 360. One thing I'll give Square credit for is the amount of effort they are putting into FF:CC for Wii despite it being an offshoot of the series.

There are no FF games announced for 360, so it's *currently* a blank page. Typical PR double-talk, doesn't really mean anything one way or the other.

 They always do that, they branch out very nicely. It's good to own a DS, PSP, PS3, Wii and 360 cause you will get good Sqaure stuff on all of those. Spinoff or not.

Yeah, and I appreciate the company for doing their best on their games, no matter what platform it's on.  I always expect quality out of my Square games and that's what I get.

I think that they want to go multi platform, but the 360 is doing worse in Japan than the PS3 is. So there really isn't any point. As for the Wii, I believe that they would love nothing better than to port it over to the Wii, but the power difference is so signifigant that they are really hesitant. They are really backed into a corner and if the PS3 version doesn't sell well they will have to make a decision. FFXIII is gonna stay on the PS3 until release day, without any announcements of change, but it will announce something after that. They will probably bring a modified version or FF13-2 over to the Wii is my bet.

It really sucks that people have to pay so much money if they want to play all the good games coming out.
