i dont think gaiden 2 will sell overly well, it may do well in na but thats it.

NG2 maybe getting alot of hype on the interwebz but it will be lucky to pass 1 million. As for mgs4 gamestop already said its the best selling ps3 game based off of preorders alone not to mention its bundled with the reintroduction to the 80 gig ps3. Mgs4 will have no problem reaching 3 million and wouldnt surpise me if it stopped at 5. And btw this topic has been proven false.

lol, funny. M8, you misunderstood, and thus addressed the wrong person. I was simply confused over the fact that me and Rock_On seemed to have reversed roles. Reversed roles because I as the X360-fan could stretch to 2 million max for NG2, based on the fake review (without it I stand by my old opinion, NG2 won't be a big success) while he, a Sony-fan, says 3 million (which is out of this world). Also, yesterday I addressed him about his low prediction for MGS4 - he said 3 million, while I believe 4-5 million. (proof here: http://www.vgchartz.com/forum/post.php?id=798535 )

Well it's not like that's an achievement, is it? :D

Anyway, MGS4 is gonna own NG2 by a lot IMO.

Nobody knows which game is gonna be best. Going strictly from history, Ninja Gaiden 1 was better than MGS3(imo), even though both games were amazing.

It wouldn't surprise me if NG2 continued in that tradition.

On the other hand MGS2 was imo, atrocious. I have no doubt that both games will be great, but prejudging and marginalizing Ninja Gaiden because your are a Sony fanboy is rediculious.

More cutscenes than gameplay


Sigh why must the arguably biggest and technologically most sophisticated exclusive for my console be made by a japanese developer. The atmosphere in the trailers is cool but I think my skip button would bleed after 9 hours of cutscenes.
On the other hand Bioshock will be available in September. I hope EA ports Mass Effects too and does a better job than with the Orange Box.

 

PS: Ninja Gaiden seems to be the holy grail for a small niche group of players. I was seldom more bored by a game than Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Weak story, weak settings, repetitive (but good) gameplay. But somehow quite a few players seem to love it.
