I can't remember if I made a thread about this topic before.
But I'm curious to hear some responses from fellow VGChartz memebers :D

I play one game and after about a week or so the hype falls short and I want to play something different. Unlike Halo 3 I contiune to play that game none stop. Its addicting as hell. But I have games like Need for Speed Most Wanted on the Xbox 360 that I'm currently playing, but I have Bioshock that is sitting there waiting to be played. I truly want to play that game but I want to finish Need for Speed Most Wanted first.

Basically I'm the kinda of dude that I need to finish a game before moving on to another. But its so hard considering the wealth of Triple AAA titles out there for the following consoles.

I have a PS3, PS2, Gamecube, Xbox 360, NDS, PSP. I have a bunch of consoles and there is not a lot of time for me to invest so many hours into. So I sometimes tend to put games I played to the side and not ever look back at the them and play something new.

So is anyone else like this?

Depends if i buy a game a really cant live without playing.

I havent completed Motorstom yet, but when MGS4 comes it wont leave my PS3 for about 5 years

If the game is so much fun then yes, I only play that game until I finish it. But if there are 2 games that are equally fun and different I can play both equally before finishing any of them.

When I bought FFXII I just couldn't play any other game!

But yes, I like to finish games first.

Mostly but up to a certain point.

I do all that I consider being fun but if some activities required to reach 100% completion are tedious I do skip them.

One example : killing all 200 flying rats in GTA4 by following a guide isn't my definition of fun, so I skipped that part...

I tend to play multiple games at the one time. Although that said I'm currently only playing GTA IV. Prior to that I was working through FFX, GTA: LCS and Jak II simultaneously.

I do try to finish all the story based games I buy.

When i buy a game i beat it but with certain games i just cant beat (Viewtiful Joe...sigh :()

I just finished Max Payne today... I started it 6 years ago.

No, I often get into many games at the same time, sometimes even too many, so I end up beating them much later than anyone else. n_n'
