I wouldn't consider MGS4 to be the Game of the Century. GTA4? Maybe. WiiFit? Maybe. MGS4? No.
You are getting a great deal. starcraft will be happy with this news.
BTW: You need the console under warranty. If you mod a console you have voided the warranty.
You will have a tremendously good time with a 360. So far this generation it is EASILY the best gaming machine out there. Looking at my signature you can see it has a far superior number of AAA titles and when you add that to the best online experience a console has ever had, you have a recipe for great gaming.

If I ever did want a PS3 one day, every single post like this I read makes me think just screw Sony and screw their fanbase.

Oh yeah, sure, nothing... I need to find the press release that says Gears 2 will be the official last 360 game produced. Forget reality that we will probably get strong third party support and interesting new first party stuff for anywhere between 2 and 3 more years. I just love these generalized bullshit comments people can make with absolutely nothing to back them up. It's like videogame propaganda to the extreme. You people shouldn't buy into it though.
