Forums - Gaming Discussion - What is *YOUR* favorite game of all time?

OoT's been my favourite pretty much since 1998. When Master Quest came out, I became even more fond of the game.

I'm also incredibly fond of Mario Kart DS, the original Harvest Moon, and Need for Speed: Most Wanted.

Only one mention of Kingdom Hearts? You shall all die and burn in hell you blasphemous heretics.

Kingdom Hearts II is the most amazingly amazing game on amazing. The greatest story evar. Amazing gameplay. Love the graphic style, and everything about it. The best game ever.

Starcraft : Brood War : RTS perfection, three races, three play styles, near absolute balance, fast paced action, great mix of macro and micro management, awesome single player story.

There's a lot of runner ups too...but Starcraft easily takes the crown.

Signature goes here!

DOTA (defence of the ancient) in warcraft 3: frozen throne

Metal Gear Solid 2. The most amazing journey through storytelling and philosophy of any game or movie ever written. Stacks up with 98% of literature as well if not surpass it.

That's a hard choice. Thinking back several games have made a lasting impression, probably the most notable being Sonic 1/2/3/S&K, Theme Park, RollerCoaster Tycoon, Super Smash Bros, Wind Waker, PowerStone, Tales of Symphonia... and a few others

But if I had to choose 1 I'd say:

The Legend of Zelda: the Wind Waker.

I'll probably be impaled for that, but it was the first Zelda game I played and I couldn't get enough.
