Forums - Sales Discussion - When will Vgchartz update Worldwide Hardware Shipments?

http://vgchartz.com/worldcons.php

At least Vgchartz should provide untill Sep 2007, if Vgchartz can't provide until Mar 2008!

It is already May 2008, M'kay? Mar 2007 is so dated!

VGCHARTZ wanted to update it but they had a problem with Sony Shipments. They are not sure if Sony is using the corect numbers. (Shipped to retaliers/Warehouses).

You should ask The Source, he is the one who explained it this week why they will not update it;

How about until Sep 2007?

What Konni said, coupled with what Rol said.

Since March 07 Sony has changed to the standard accepted (by the other two) meaning of "shipped" which means previous numbers are now BS, the PS3 could be saved as we know the proper shipped figures for it before March (something like 3.7 instead of the 5.5) however it has totally screwed up PSP and PS2 figures.
And then there is the lack of regional breakdown from MS or Sony which seals the matter.

I think they could update what they got now, instead of letting Sony & M$ making them dated.
