Forums - General Discussion - Do you know How Hugo Chavez is? Political thread

Not exaclty. But economicly, I don't think that he's the smartest guy.

And as you're saying, he has done many things. Good and bad things.

So for me, he's just a guy who tries to do the best for his country, and I'm not the best one to say if he's doing right with his people.

Anti-americanism is childish.

You don't look smart by saying that.

And for me, the US administration is Anti-Chavez...

Most of the democratic world is anti-Chavez. It sounds like Shido, who lives in Venezuela, is anti-Chavez too.

Yeah, and I assume that you're talking about the same "Democratic world" that invaded Irak...

Looks like Fox news is doing a great job :)

I don't look dumb either. Let's re-examine.... You said "But then I remember that the US wants him to look as SATAN in persone, so I wish him good luck... ". Are you really gonna tell me that's not a childish attitude?!? Nevermind that though, why don't you like the US?!? Do you dislike the government? Do you think we are a bunch of dumb rednecks? Is it the Iraq fiasco? What is the reason? Wait a tick, are you really from outside the USA. Not that I doubt you at all but there are an awful lot of people who seem to loath being Americans for some reason. Personally, I just loath being human but that a story for another day.

In my country (Greece) he's portrayed in a positive way, that he raised the economy and appealed to the little man. But i think most of my compatriots are influenced by his anti-americanism, so we may be wrong. Better for a venezuelan himself to tell us about him.

Not only greece in ohter countries I know in Europe watch him like a stupid guy in a positve way, maybe stupid but doing his work.

 Take it easy man!

Who said I don't like the US? I meant the US administration (and that answers you next question) as I replied to you.

I don't like the way the actual administration is acting, and I don't have a single probleme with American people.

You can go and check my profile to see that I'm not American/a US citizen.

Chavez's problem is that he talk to much, if you look at the previous presidents of Venezuela you will see that they were as bad as Chavez is, but they did the things without making too much noise so the other contries won't even notice, I think that the problem here is the people who is behind Chavez, they only want power and money and Chavez is too blind(or he wants to manage them like thristy puppets)to see it.

Take a look at my governator(Luis Felipe Acosta Carles), I have shame to have that clown as my governator.

Like 2 weeks ago, he said(Acosta Carles) that he has the right to own a HUMMER, what do you think about that?

pwned? Yeah, more like great job at changing the subject.

I didn not mention the US, but since you went there: Yes the "Democratic World" did invade Iraq. There were other countries besides the US that invaded Iraq and even more countries joined in after the invasion. If you like having your government spoon feeding you your ideas, then that's up to you. If you want your rulers to be hot dog vendors, well then, good luck with that.

Like I said earlier on this thread, it will not end with the TV station. Chavez is going to keep taking away civil liberties one by one, including videogames. Do you really want those people to suffer that fate? I don't think Shido does and he is there witnessing this happen. People are already making a mass exodus from that country.

I guess Aljazeera is doing a great job in your country.

Hey konnichiwa, if you're not going to contribute to the conversation, then I suggest you STFU. Thanks.
