What I really want to see is a real sequel to Super matio rpg (no offense to those who like paper mario) . There was just something about the game that I absolutely fell in love with.

I don't see Square Enix working that closely with Nintendo again very soon. It might be a while before they forget how much of a dick Ninty was to them in the early to mid ninety's,

2004 Lincoln LSV8 - ~$15,000

K&N Cold Air Intake - $300

Handheld ECU Reprogrammer - $400

I dont feel like typing PS3 games that are expected to come in 2008,9. :)
lol..... Gonna compare game releases on the PS3 that are a year or more off to Wii games expected in the next 3 months? PS3 might not be working if you let it collect dust all of 2007.

To cash in my CC rewards points for $300 in Circuit City gift cards to purchase a 360 or not: That is the question.

I wasn't aware that the DS wasn't a part of Nintendo. You know, with FFIII & DQ9 on it and all.

Okay, I am calling it right here. Kwaad is a character username. He's not real. He is simply somebody concocted by someone to troll these forums and spew nonsensical stuff to get a reaction. Everyone should stop falling into his trap while we're still ahead.

Yes, I know. What you apparently don't know is that the original Super Mario RPG was mostly made by Square, before they merged with Enix. Plus if you were going the smart ass route, you forgot the Crystal Chronicles games on GBA and GC.

Super Mario RPG rocked. :D If I recall correctly, the DS has a Mana game, Final Fantasy XII After story game, a Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles game, dragon quest ix, and don't forget what's still to hit the us, Dragon Quest Monster Joker or something like that. ;) The only Wii productions I know of are Dragon Quest Swords and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles : The Crystal Bearers. I'm still thinking that DQS may be a big hit. ;)

Nobody is crazy enough to accuse me of being sane.

Plus that it is too easy. I think SPM will be too. In addition, it was originally a GC game that has been dumped on the Wii. Not a good sign. Who knows though, maybe it will be very good.
vanguardian1 said: That's the highest quality video I've seen of it, and skipping to about 3/4 of the way through to see the gameplay, I think it looks beautifully cute and fairly stylish (not mind-blowing of course), but then again, I'm not one to admire dark and grungy graphics, so it may be my personal taste.
Thanks for the link, but I just can't watch that without thinking, 'Homeland rip off!'. Do you know Homeland? If so, you will know what I am talking about.
vanguardian1 said: And of course you have to design the games that can utilize the wiimote functions around it. The question is if it would be usable with a conventional controller, and if it is not, then what's the problem? Depending on all the gameplay elements this will support, using a conventional controller for this game's design may be anywhere between managable and impossible, we'll have to wait to see. This is one of the risks of departing from a long-lasting way of doing things, which is in this case, a standard controller design, you have to take it into consideration when making new software. If you don't, you end up with something along the likes of a bad port. :o
I don't have a problem with the Wii controls at all, but it is true that all games have to be designed around them from the start, and before long I just foresee a whole bunch of the same stuff, and none of it particularly good.
vanguardian1 said: That does sound rather silly, do you perchance know where the text of the interview can be found? I'd still like to read more about it.
I may still have the mag. I'll check. I was hyped for the game before reading the article
vanguardian1 said: I was under the impression you could purchase a large selection of cars and tracks online for the "free" game, and I'm sure I heard about it supporting online modes as well (my knowledge of the game is rather limited, I admit)..... Photo mode? Oh well, the only racing games I enjoy anymore are Mario Kart (SNES and Double Dash versions only), and I'll get Excite Truck when it drops in price. I've never enjoyed "realistic" racers, I've never learned how to touch the brakes in virtual driving. ;)
The GT HD Concept demo is 10 cars, 1 course, and two modes (time attack and drift). It has online ranking and replay playback. It is essentially a taster of what GT5 will be. Someone wrote something else about the game a few posts back, but that was mainly nonsense. For the record, I don't hate the Wii at all, but I think it is massively overhyped, and heading for a slump. Also, I really don't see any games to get excited about that are being released in the next few months. I got a Wii on launch day in Japan and sold it to my buddy straight away. I don't regret that decision at all. I did have plans to pick another one up this year, but now that I have abandoned hope for No More Heroes, it kind of only leaves MP3 and Mario Galaxy that I am keeping an eye open for.

Ouch, mainly nonsense...... From what I have read (because I didn't feel GTHD was worth the DL) That the demo does not contain the new car models, nor physics, nor damage. The crowds are static and other than textures the game does not provide any next gen visuals. If you have found otherwise please link me to where you got your info from. I agree with you that the wii is overhyped. It still provides some anticipation I hope that Naruto Shippūden will be able to play on american Wii's if not I will be sad.
