Question: In that video, with the sticker icons...why is Ness among Pokemon, but not Lucas? That doesn't make sense to me, and if Lucas isn't there, I don't see why Mewtwo is ruled out.

If the screenshot you're talking about is the one that I'm thinking of, that's PT, not Ness.

Ah yeah, I got them confused. Yeah that's clearly Ness.

I'm just wondering...why did they give all of Ness's moves to Lucas, unless their moves are going to be the same? meh?

It's too bad they couldn't keep this a secret...unlocking Ness in the game, after all the "NESS IS DEFINITELY GONE" language, would have been a great surprise.

But then again, since the Japanese version comes out in 10 days, I'm going to know every little thing about this game by the time I pick it up.

They could make a new moveset for Ness.

Either someone made a mistake, they thought nobody would notice or they did it on purpose to generate disscusion about the game.

In Earthbound, Ness could never learn things like PK Fire, Freeze, or Starstorm (Actually, I think he may have been able to learn this at the end, I don't remember), so really his moveset wasn't really accurate in the first place. I suppose in Mother 3, Lucas could learn those moves, so they gave them to him.

Ness still has his choice from PK Flash, Paralysis, Power, Hypnosis, and some others. Also, since Lucas doesn't have a bat, we can assume that that's been given back to Ness

I have a feeling we're gonna see a reborn Ness.
