Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Super Smash Bros. Brawl Official Updates

Ooh, nice to have one of the old maps back. I would've liked to see a few more of them, rather than several pictures of just Hyrule Temple, but it beats nothing. Narrowly beats most of the updates from the last few weeks, but getting Ganondorf would still be nice.

I liked the Melee Hyrule music better.  Booooo!

Words of Wisdom and Nintendo Fangirl... What were you reading?

"In general, the Melee stages have the same background music as in the last game, but we’ve also prepared some tracks like this."

It was a music update, not necessarily the music for the stage they showed. And I like this music anyway (It was on the third adventure stage I think). Zelda II yea!

What is this "reading" thing you speak of and how dare you imply that I currently do it!?

Thie graphics in this game really look great.

man...that's the worst jpeg compression I've ever seen.

lol my CGT professor used to dock people half a letter grade for submitting JPEGs because of how much they suck.

Anyone have pics of the Melee version of Temple for comparison?

None of the other stages matter to me at this point. They brought back the Temple stage WITH new music. This game is sold. It would also be nice to have the old song at least in the sound test at least. Good update.

Just waiting for my Mewtwo and Jiggs.

Generation 8 Predictions so far.....(as of 9/2013)

Console that will sell most: Nintendo Wii U

Who will sell more consoles between Microsoft/SONY: SONY

I thought that, but listen to the last third of the music. It's exactly the same as Melee's Temple. They wouldn't duplicate music, so what I think he means is "Most past stages we've kept the original music, but some like this we've done a [poor] remix of it".

Ubuntu. Linux for human beings.

If you are interested in trying Ubuntu or Linux in general, PM me and I will answer your questions and help you install it if you wish.

Pretty much.  I'm not impressed by several of Brawl's musical scores.  The soundtrack of Melee was one of its best features, Brawl has a lot to live up to in this area and I don't feel like some of the tunes we've heard do the game justice.
