maybe the online thing that many people want is because we live in a "online world", with youtube, emails, my space, itunes store, etc, is not a microsoft thing , is a world need , for that nintendo have the WiFi conect, Sony the PSN, and Microsoft the xbox live, but this dont make a game better or worse for users, this is a personal opinion, only make it better or worse for the magazine reviewers, and if smash brothers dont have online, the reviewers have a pretext to put it 8 or 9.

I was originally hoping that Bowser would get to change into Giga Bowser or Mecha Bowser for a short time as a bonus, Link get to change into Oni Link, Mario into the bigger Super Mario, Samus into light suit Samus, Sonic into the super sayan Sonic from Sonic Adventure, Zelda into a spiritual entity, Pikachu evolve into Raichu or gathers a bunch of Pikachus for a Thunder storm, Fox get into an Arwing or landrover, etc. To have physical transformations to accompany their powerful moves for all characters. so this isn't a huge suprise to me. Cool that they are at least thinking on those lines just a little bit. Maybe we will see some more of what I mentioned, but it would be awesome to have all of them do something like this. Unfortunately Mario and Link do not.

It'd be lame if they ALL turned into "super versions" of themselves. I like that some of them use super attacks instead, like Pikachu's is cool.

And super sayan Sonic from Sonic Adventure? I think you mean Super Sonic or Hyper Sonic from Sonic 2 and 3...those are the real Sonic games.

I think it's a better balance for them to have all different types of Final Smashes it makes it funnier, Mario can hit everybody, Link only hits one person, Pikachu hits who ever you can catch, and Bowser, well Bowser's is just cool as hell.

I'd prefer online for a couple reasons. One of which being that all the guys I used to play smash (Something around 1,200 games with) are all across Canada now, so to play with them again, we'd need online, and that's been a large potential selling point for us.

If it doesn't have it, it'll be a good game, but with online, not only do you have that great hotseat multiplayer, you have the "Well, I wanna play smash, my friends are busy, let's go online!" extension. Extend the life of an already long lived franchise.

That's how I feel. I really want online in this game because all my friends and I are in college, and though I have new friends I like playing games with my old friends too. So yeah, I'll get this game with online or without it, but I will be disappointed if it doesn't have it (not like Metroid Prime 3, where I didn't even want it).

Plus, I really want to play all you guys.  VGchartz smash tournaments!! You know it would be awesome!
