That may very well be the reason we haven't seen Peach, or many other characters yet. I hope they don't ditch her lovely dress with the pink corset and golden decorations in favour of something simpler.

Great returning veteran. Although if she misses the sheik tranformation she must have new moves to cover for her loss. But were is Midna dammit? And  the pic with her and Samus makes me wonder on how many pervs are going to pause for a panties shot.

could the castle behind zelda be mushroom kingdom, hyrule castle, or just a random castle?

It will be the Fire Emblem level.  It doesn't match Zelda or Mario castle art styles, and there is only one castle left in the SSBB series that I can think of.  

Yay Zelda!  I HOPE Midna has nothing to do with her down B.  I want Zelda to be her own unique character.  Midna I would prefer to have as a completely seperate character (with 2 forms: Twili and Imp forms).

I approve of this release of new info.

I don't want Midna with Zelda either...if anything Midna should be with Link. Zelda should be separate.

We still have Meta Knight, Snake, and Zero Suit Samus to be officially updated...then we'll have all the existing characters done with...I wasn't expected a new announcement like this through the website though...I figured any new characters would be announced in a trailer...we need more trailers!
