If Sonic is in the game, I think it will be advertised. The OMFG moment will come in about the 3rd week of November right before they start running ads, when he is revealed on the website.

As long as he did more than fly behind the stage and unleash a giant kill-everything-ray like various bird Pokemon did in Melee, it'd be okay.

But I'm hoping the "characters on many people's lists" who end up as assists are Geno, Krystal, Waluigi, Bowser Jr. and other characters with no business in the game, yet are on lots of lists, while Diddy, Dedede and Ridley all make the cut.

Diddy, Dedede, Ridley and Sonic. If those 4 get in, I don't care who else does.

 

I have all 4 of those on my list.  I also have Krystal, who I don't like either, but my list was likely predictions and she is one of the most requested characters on polls.  I do think that Ridley can be a playable character very easily, as he was shrunk down to a normal size for the opening of SSBM once already. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=56P3-TwuRBo

Somebody got busy and made us a Daisy already. It's rumoured to have taken 8000 hours in MS Paint.

If someone spent 8000 hours in paint to make that they are just plain stupid.  It could be done much faster in Photoshop.  However, that said, it looks great.

Even if it was 8000 man-hours and not just 8000 hours, it still would have taken 300 people working 26h 40m non-stop to log that much time in Paint (as the pic's been out about that long).  Turn on you facetiousness filter, naznatips.

A daisy with her own moveset, that what i want. Can we get also Tatanga (Supermarioland) as an assist trophy? He was such a cool boss. A shame that he was forgotten. Revive him now!
