That happens a lot but games only get the "Only for XBOX" label when they launch as an exclusive. Bioshock is going to have a concurrent launch on PC.

You obviously know nothing about this game, if there is one FPS you can't call the same ol' thing it's this one. Go research on the game, it's more of an FPS/RPG than just an FPS...

So other games who have Only on Xbox at launch could go elesewhere later? (by elsewhere I mean PS3 not PC)

Sure, it's happened before (Splinter Cell). 

 but that's the problem, they limit it to fps.  its a great idea and all, but its too tightly rooted to a genre.  if it sucks atbeing an fps, than its gona suck (not saying it will).  if it was third person game even it could fail at almost anything and still be a great ai demonstration.

Also I'm not the biggest FPS fan, but even I enjoy ones that are good.

Yeah, well, he posted a picture of the Bioshock cover all smugly, acting like he knew something that we were unaware of.  Bioshock is made for the Xbox 360 and Windows PCs, nothing else (currently, anyway)

And I don't understand some people knocking this game...it's as if a FPS is inherently bad to you guys.  What do you want, a turn-based RPG in this spooky, twisted setting?  It's fast, scary, and being first person it puts you right in the setting...one of the reasons FPSs have so much potential.

but most people dont like being in first person mode. i play video games not to be myself. and yes it is inherently bad to me. just like how jrpg's are bad to others. i dont want to play a fps, but that doesnt mean ill knock the concept. and being able to focus on more things would be cooler in this, which is why i want a third person view.

The point is immersion though...it's not as scary if you can see behind your own self...it's not realistic.
