the inevitable is that games are becoming more multiplatform. epic can make more money if it is multi than a deal with ms. it is easy to predict a game like gears because it is on such an obvious path. unreal is that path.

yes i understand that nothing is confirmed from t2, but come on. multiplatform than dropping a sku? many people predicted a timed exclusive before these came up, but this just nearly confirms it.

and it is different from ff and mgs, because there have been 0 hints that it will be multi, except for one time but that was soooooo long ago and they said it couldnt be done on 360.

Several years is an understatement. 1.5-2 years for Gears of War 2, another 1-2 for Gears of War 3. I'd 3-4 years before we see Gears of War 3, frankly. As I said, Sonic went from being a first party, totally exclusive mascot for Sega's systems to being little more than a third party shill in less time than that.

no, completely false. there were talks that capcom and se would merge and buy out ms, so sony would fire back and get nintendo to get back into the hardware race. turns out apple bought ms. apple knew that the xbox was still losing money so they cut it. capcom and se than merged to buy out nintendo. dell picked up the xbox unit from apple and turned it profitable. sony is now caught in the middle, cause they used to be nintendo supporters and anti capcom and se.

Poseidon, no, they are making a Gears of War 2 exclusive for the xbox 360. It should be out by 2009.
