Just to make sure you're aware, by this logic there is no such thing as an exclusive. It's theoretically possible that Sony will be forced out of the hardware business. They will, like Sega, continue to make software (or not, and simply sell their development firms), and release Shadow of the Colossus on the Wii. That's extremely unlikely, but that's possible.
This type of argument is much like a stoner who says: "Dude, you can't prove that ANYONE exists." Which is technically true, assuming one has a strong grasp of quantum theory. However, even Physicists will say that reasonable people can reasonably agree that we each exist. Similarly, reasonable people can reasonably call, say, Halo an exclusive franchise, because it's owned by Microsoft and any chance of a port is as distant as a port can possibly be.
Yes, a port of Gears of War is possible, if Microsoft goes broke tomorrow and Epic is free from all entanglements. It is profoundly, ridiculously and hilariously unlikely, however.
