You know what i didn't think GTA 4 really lived up to its hype. Does anyone else agree with me?

Dunno its a fun game and it plays well. So it must have lived up to some of the hype.

It didn't live up to all the 10s the critics awarded it.

It didn't live upto SA in terms of story and all of what made SA great,voice actors,rpg elements,vehicles,weapons,clothing,setting,characters,music but GTA 4 is still good they just
should have improved on some elements not take them out.I also felt the story was weak compared to past GTA games and that they just killed off characters for no reason(Elizabeta,Manny).

GTA4 is like an upgraded GTA3, its no VC or SA but its still a good game.

I think it lived up to the hype and more. It's a great game and has sold very well through its first week. We'll no doubt see strong sales continue for it this week as well.

People just enjoy the GTA IV game experience have fun. The review scores of games are meaningless.

I did live up to the hype, the game is just really fun to play, and you don't have to waste so much time with all the RPG elements and planes would add very little to the game. I might appriechiate a few more side missions, but anyone saying the story is not as good is just speaking rubbish. It is an excellent story, and a very well told one at that, I do actually care for some of the characters

i hope you didnt expect perfection, it's far from perfect. but, it's a great game nonetheless.
