What about Forza ?

Forza 2 did 11.5k in Japan first WEEK!

However Resi 4 didn't do as good as i thought... It didn't do bad! 30k is still very solid to reach 100-150k in Japan if it has some legs!

And Hot shots did TOO WORSE! JUST TOO FUNNY! 2k!!!

Some Sony fanboys did even dare to say that this and NGS would be the resurection of the PS3 in Japan!

Lol! Just look at the numbers!

Forza 2 did 14.5k according to VGCharts, and around 16.5-17.5k to MC. These numbers are the "launch day" numbers for each game, and have no bearing on the holdings of last-week's games. Forza 2 launched last week, therefore not on the list. I'd say, for the 3 day week (since there are roughly only 3 days from o/d to the end of the tracking week). Medikara Training: 57,500 Guilty Gear XX: 42,500 Resident Evil 4: 50,000 Hot Shots Golf: 2,500

30k is fairly good for what Resident Evil 4 really is ... A port of a 3 year old game that has already been released on 2 platforms already. I couldn't imagine the development cost being too high so I would expect that 100,000 units worldwide would represent a decent profit and (from the looks of it) this game will probably break 100,000 units in Japan alone.

Agreed - HS, considering how bad K7 just did in Japan, once it passes 50k or 100k w/w, it'll start making a profit. IMO, Capcom did a great thing by making a port to Wii - I just wish they'd do the same thing with RE4 to 360!!

Is this the big Hot Shots Golf title for the ps3?

I'm actually amazed at how well RE4 did, it wasn't anounced that long ago, and they didn't really change much, and it is awfully old. I don't recall the last 3 yr old port that pulled of 30K on launch.

Ehm it's the Minna No Golf Ba for the PSP. Not sure what it means, looks awefully the same as Hot Shots Golf / Everybody's Golf for the PSP (remake of the PS version)...Second volume will release on August, 2nd. Should be a lesson to quit making remakes over remakes...

RE4 is slightly dissappointing to me, considering the scores we're unbelievable high, but since a lot of Nintendoids in Japan buy their games during the weekends I'm curious how the figures will look like next week.
