3m the next week looks a little bit overrated maybe it will reach 2 more millions

3 million sounds about right, there will be a few people who would have held off, a few more that will be influenced by their friends and a few that couldnt get their hands on a copy this week. I think that this game could hit 12million+ between both consoles. Its a really common game to buy with your console, your first purchase. Thats probably why COD4 did so well also.

this game will o down fast well becuz people ant it soo much only reson too buy it a week late is if you coulnt find a copy at store or if you wer away everyone will buy it early it will have poor legs

not more than 2M (PS3+X360) next week

Absolutely amazing in regards to both software and hardware sales. This game cements the duality between the ps3 and 360. I hope GTA 4 has the legs of the old versions. I expect the legs to be significantly better for the 360 WW with the ps3 being a tad more front loaded. But we'll see how things play out next week. Im most interested about seeing how week two in others plays out. The US will remain dominated by the 360 version I believe.

Big numbers as expected. BTW sales in UK next week may be larger than expected as many retailers ran out of stock so actually this weeks sales do not show full demand but only demand up to the point supply ran out.

Therefore next week should see week 2 sales plus additional sales from week 1 (assuming they get enough stock back on the shelves).

Not sure if it ran out of stock outside UK - perhaps others know?

fantastic news for playstation 3, just look at the console sales boost

I still see GTA4 selling another 2-3 million for this week. I know a few people, including my brother, who are purchasing a PS3 and GTA4 this week, or whenever they get their $600+ stimulus money. And with a good chunk getting it this week, I can see it improve.

I'll like him having that since I will be able to video chat with my niece and talk to her, and then play GTA4 with my brother.
