Hardware: I would not say no to a new sega console, but only an handheld.

Software: Psygnosis of course, and bring me back squaresoft, i'm so tired of square-enix ...

A game system is just an embedded computer, so I will say Tandy/Radio Shack, especially prior to when they became just a clone maker of MS-DOS.

Talking strictly video game consoles, I would almost say Sega. That said, the market is totally different and it wouldn't be the same even if they were back.

Can I count Rare as a dead manufacturer? Not today's rare, but the rare back from the good old days.

I personally miss acclaim especially the Busby Bobcat and NBA Jam series.

I would like SNK back personally. They just about fell off the earth, at least Sega is doing software.

Sega all the way. Not only was I obsessed with games like Powerstone and Madden (playing online) back then but even before that and the Saturn they briefly blessed all us Genesis owners with the option of the "Sega Channel".

I owned the first generation Sega Genesis, the remodeled Sega Genesis. My stepdad owned the Sega Saturn. I remember the day he found out that Sega cut production on it. He was mad and went to pick up a Playstation One.

I owned a Dreamcast from my friend. It was something wrong with the lens. But I played Sonic Adventure, Crazy Taxi and Shenmue to death. 

Those were the best days of my life :D
