Only through bad parenting do you let your children focus time solely on Entertainment (just as if they had watched TV 24/7 and consumed their mind) rather than enforcing discipline of time management.

Maybe I grew up differently, but I've been in a household with hand-helds and consoles since I was 4. We all (3 of us) still managed to do academically well in school, be avid band players (marching band, jazz band, pep band) and participate in generally one academic club at school. I took piano for about 8 years and participated heavily in our church.

A gameboy never once came across as a demon-creator. I blame the parents.

That lady is expecting too much from her kids. Her first mistake was buying 1 ds for 4 kids. Then she doesn't care about their happiness rather than how "CREATIVE" they must be. Seriously if my parents were like that I would be so pissed. Shes going to cause her kids to have alot of stress because of the pressure of her expectations. I just hope she lays of her kids before they start to feel this pressure.

This is proof of why soccer moms should not be bloggers.

My parents were smart, they game me, my brother and my sister each our own gameboy all at the same time. We shared the games, not the systems. Except Pokemon, we all got our own copy of Pokemon.

My parents didn't do that to me and my brother or else bad stuff would of happened more likely to me....

Great job teaching your children about honesty and not stealing!! With 20 games, your DS would have cost AT LEAST 5 times that much if you purchased the games legally. Lucky for you, you managed to purchase a 'bundle' with illegal, pirated (or stolen) software. You are a cheap thief and a terrible mother. How dare you complain about Nintendo supposedly destroying the children you have no idea how to parent when you have the audacity to purchase stolen property... just because you're cheap? You should be ashamed of yourself!

Edit: All the above is true, but I'm being a little extreme on purpose to see if they'll post it or not. We'll see in the next few days if they even allow any comments.

It reminds me how me and two of my brothers fought for the computer (My third brother got one for himself) We made a simple rule first man get's it.

The problem is.....she only got 1 DS......for like 3/4 (who cares) kids. Thats where she messed up 1st. Plus 20 games? You askin for crackhead killaz. Get a home console with more than 1 controller. She bought it for her daughter too (pickin' favorites huh? Naughty Naughty) Those boys would probably go nuts for so playtime.
