This is ridiculous. Every gaming site known to man gives out a 10 for this game, and no one mentioned any freezes.
Now this freezing appears this is a widespread problem, and you have to do all these things anytime the game freezes, which probably takes about 30 minutes everytime.
I'm seriously debating wheter I should still get this game or not. Probably not.

Don't delete your save files, try everything else first, and try it again and again. Last time it took me 5 tries for the game to load. And if you can get the game to load, save your game in more then one file at the safehouse, i have about 8 save files, just incase it comes down to eraasing one of them. I'm at 48 hours or something, and there is no way i'm going to erase my save files.

whats the flicker filter option because i cant find it under the display dettings
For me, it froze once on the multiplayer tutorial, and now it freezes on the load screen every time. The fix is to just logout of your PSN account, and everything works. You can even do multi-player, as when you go to it, it logs you back in once the game is loaded.
The thing that sucks, is for now on until they fix this bug, I have to logout of PSN.
So for everyone here reading this with this issue, if you are only trying to play the single player campaign, try it first without being logged into PSN. My guess is you will have no issues for the rest of the game if you play it that way.
I just bough this game yesterday. It froze up on me after the first HDD installation and then again during the first cut scene.
I'm going to try again tonight while logged off the PSN, but if it doesn't work, I'm just going to return the game to GameStop in exchange for Mario Kart. I buy consoles to play games. If I wanted to deal with this nonsense, I'd play PC games.

even I hadissues but nothing major, I got it to work perfect tonight with no issues.
After delaying the game for several months, they should have done a better effort at testing... I don't know what's the percentage of failures, but it certainly seems like it's big enough to be detectable during decent testing.
I wonder if the game was rushed out due to EA's indirect pressure.
