how come the title of this thread is "Hideki Kamiya disgusted at capcoms gimping of okami for the Wii" when he says nothing at all alluding to this so called "gimping"? Sure, he responded to the partial credit removal, and rightfully so... But this whole thread seems pretty whiny to me over a great game.

And for the record, im 20 hours in with NO glitches and NO freeze ups and i can draw like a breeze with the IR celestial brush controls. So needless to say those personal arguments on behalf of the originator of this thread are in my opinion unfounded.

This is quite disappointing, but I'll be getting the game regardless.

@BenK: Ready at Dawn did the port, and they are by no means a four man team. They made Daxter and God of War: Chains of Olympus for the PSP.

The pointer acuracy and movement pales in comparison to games like RE4 or RE:UC where movement is fluid, it works okay for Okami as is but it could be much better. This is cited by almost every reviewer and gaming news site. While Lock ups seem to be console specific issues they still seem to be enough of an issue to warrant their mention on the same news sites. The Port was not professional, at least not by Capcom standards.

I guess being a Wii game gives this port a free ticket to lack whatever it wants.
