Forums - Gaming Discussion - One console only people - what do you think?

One console is more than enough for me. PS3 offers really broad library of solid games. Still didn't play Assassins Creed, Orange Box or R6V2... I didn't finish DMC4 and GT5P so far but I just bought GTAIV... I'm going to buy Haze and Wipeout HD in May, MGS4, SoulCalibur 4 and Civilization Revolution in June etc. Seriously I don't play online anymore because simply I don't have enough time to spare...

All you really need is a DS.

I already have all my friends on the PSN and to go and abandon them? They might do something crazy if i lwasn't on as much!

on a serious note though, i'm only 14, i have school, and i dont have a job, so i can't buy a new console, spend money on accesories, games, or pay for online. I hardly save up enough money to achieve my goal of one game per month. But that should change once i get a job. But them, i'll have the money, but no time for it.

Very easy.

Wii is not even on my radar it being a GC with waggle, most of 360 big games have PC versions. Halo Gears Bioshock MAss Effect, so why should i buy that defective box to play them ?

The PS3 is enough for my gaming needs.

Yeah, with a PS3 and a PSP I don't have enough time/money for another console.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

If I got another console, I wouldn't have enough time to read and post on here! ;) I have a Wii now and may eventually get a PS3 (very long way down the road). But it's highly unlikely I'll ever own a 360.

Numbers are like people. Torture them enough and you can get them to say anything you want.

Every generation I have either 1 console or 0 consoles. It's Nintendo or nothing for me. I didn't have a GameCube, and now a Wii's way more than enough for me. I'm in the middle of about 10 games or so.

I only have one console this gen: Wii. I don't plan on buying either of the other two and nobody I know has one that I can play. My boss has one, but it is kinda awkward to go other to play...

If I had to choose one console and only one this gen, it would be the Wii, simply because of the godly first party game. Ninty= FTW! (imho)

i only own a wii,but im in the same case as you
