i love this game, but i don't think it deserves a 10/10.

I have, the reviews of Mario Kart Wii. I guess the Nintendo fanboys are percieving that reviewers are out to get them.

Then again, I still think there would be complaining simply because it's now king of the review mountain. Ten years ago there was another new king of a mountain. And I don't mean Ocarina. I mean the movie Titanic.

There was such bitching and moaning about all the money it was making, and a lot of sour grapes, like how it was just seen by preteen girls, because it couldn't possibly be a film with mainstream appeal, like every other movie that made hundreds of millions.

Anyway, there it bitching. It's because people like to bitch. That it has to do with the Wii vs HD debate is incidental. 

We also have to take into account who reviewed GTA IV. And, games that are hyped up get great review scores, only to find out later on that the game was not that good in the first place. (Halo 3)

well gta4 is a great game on either console, but i have a feeling all the 10`s is just riding on hype more than anything else. i belive the game is a 9.5-9.6 its a stunning game indeed.

i see many people saying the grafix arnt that good as made out to be, well i have to disagree on that the grafs are really good, but more in the dept. of art direction and how many details are crammed into game

so to answer your question NO it doesnt deserve a 10 across the board

That's exactly why I anticipate a regular backlash later, not just complaining about the reviews.

This whole "not worthy of review" thing is getting out of hand.

If people stop bringing the game up, it will be forgotten, but people intend to keep on making threads about it and keep on giving it attention. Just move on, stop arguing moot points, chill with the personal attacks, and accept the fact that the game got good reviews. Period. It got 10/10 from most outlets, and is obviously a great game, so go play it, or be quiet. Sheesh. These threads are getting so tiresome -_-.

Got my copy of GTAIV Wednesday was pretty looking forward to it even though i have played all the series and wondered what the fuss was about, anyway since then i have played it for about an hour and reverted back to COD4 it just doesn't do it for me, ok technically very good but if gamesrankings anything to go by its not the greatest game ever it isn't even better than Scrabble!

This is getting sad guys, it's just a game.

Getting sad? When was it not sad? It's been sad since the 16-bit era. It's been sad since fanboys existed.
