This is a false logic. It's true that when you take out UK PS3 and X360 userbase are similar in size but this does not mean that in any particular country PS3 or X360 have advantage. For example in Spain PS3 is in the lead and in Australia X360. For Netherlands we actually don't know excally and we can only guess that X360 has advantage from good performance of X360 titles in Netherlands chart (the biggest X360 won was Vegas 2 debuting on 1st while PS3 counterpart debuted on only 9th position).

It's a pity that I can't find total hardware numbers for the Netherlands, but I thought the consensus was that UK was the only place in Europe where the 360 had a significant advantage. Even konnichiwa above said that the PS3 version was expected to win.

@NJ5: This may be becouse UK is the only "big" region where X360 has an advantage. So in some way the consensus is true.
There were numerous multiplatform titles that debuted higher on 360 than on PS3 in Netherlands, including Vegas 2, Army of Two, Viking. However PS3 won with Burnout and DMC4.
