If you look at my post history, you'll notcie that I don't really care too much about the Wii.....but I do acknowledge that it's selling like hot cakes and is definitely the most popular console right now. With that in mind, that brings up a question with concern to this weeks numbers. With Mario Kart Wii and Wii Fit already released these past weeks, why would the recorded numbers this week be so low? Last place even. I was sure the 360 was going to take that spot in Others. PS3 and 360 numbers are up from last week....why have Wii numbers dropped so hard? Any ideas?

Edit: I read the numbers wrong, and it was actually American numbers. But still, the release of MK Wii + Wii's usual high numbers make me perplexed about what's going on this week. I know GTA was big, but I doubt it's anticipation neutralized the momentum the Wii has

I don't see any EU numbers... I see NA numbers though...

These are last week numbers. They are stockpiling. This is the week that will be huge, and we will not see the numbers until next week. MK was release on Sunday of this week, which is the first day of this week's numbers.

It is just supply constrained. Also MK Wii released on the 27th which will be next weeks numbers. And if I understand correctly many retailers had Wii's on sail to to accompany the launch of MK Wii, so we could see massive sales numbers next week.
