I just think its funny that Wii Fit and Mario Kart Wii both average under 83% (meaning they are about as good as Heavenly Sword) yet no one seems to care. Is Wii Fit the last big hitter announced this year for the Wii?
I mean they will probably still sell, but it will just prove once again that the Wii sells any crappy game with Wii or Mario infront of it. Im happy to see that reviewers have stopped giving Nintendo a free pass on games and actually started judging by quality over hype. Is there anything left on the Wii for the rest of the year thats already announced or are they going to pull and EA and release Mario____08 with updated rosters?
They gotta have something big planned for E3, but if they announce Wii cooking or anything of that nature I think im going to piss myself from laughter, lol.
Let me just add. I think reviews are crap too. Numbers for games all across different genres are stupid. It's just that many people were caught up in this Nintendo domination, Wii can do no wrong phase while still bashing the PS3 for having "no games". But hell, to be honest at this point I would say its the Wii with no games since we disregard any game that scores under a 90 as being "a game". So what is it? Does the Wii get a pass because its "Mario-" and "Wii-"? When its Lair or Heavenly Sword(ok Lair really sucked) its justified but when its the Wii all of a sudden its the man trying to take the Wii down? Iunno dawg. Sure you all may like Wii Fit and Mario Kart regardless of scores, but does the gaming community now remove that from the list of "games" the console has?
